Mr. Gallo

Gallo - Rooster
The neighborhoods are alive with chickens.  Usually they tend to be a bit untidy and scraggly, but this fine rooster was strutting his stuff.  Kind of fun to hear them crowing, adds to the ambience.

    You're more patient than me! When I've been in Mexico and the roosters start crowing, that's when I put in earplugs. I think I'm turning into a crotchety old man, as I feel the same way about dogs and church bells. Ahhh! Life would be sweet without roosters, dogs or church bells! On the other hand, I love the sound of song birds, the harmonics of wind chimes, and the water flowing in our creek -- just like waves of an ocean shoreline -- will sometimes put me into a sound sleep. I do believe your photograph accurately catches the ambience of the typical Mexican neighborhood.
