Hand-made Cigars

Rolling out the tobacco
While walking in centro Zihuatanejo we pass many small shops.  This fellow was making cigars.  A man who was just sitting there made the claim that he was some distant cousin of Fidel.  Primo del primo del primo del Fidel.  Karen decided to pass on lighting up a fine Cuban stogie .

  1. Yeah, well... Karen is a wise woman to pass up the stogie. I was a light smoker (cigarettes) during my mid to late teenage years (I enjoyed it), but every time I tried a cigar I thought the experience was disgusting. Now that I'm old, and my fingers look like cigars, maybe I would have a different reaction. Not going to find out, though! Ha! I think the saying, "Everything in moderation," is generally true, with at least one exception -- smoking, even second hand smoking. There is a lot of "to-do" in Multnomah County (and municipalities) to treat e-cigarettes and cigarettes exactly the same. Apparently electric cigarettes are loaded with chemicals, as well! Maybe this vendor in Zihua should invent the "e-Stogie"! I can picture the add: A young blond woman smoking an eStogie while texting on her iPhone!
